The American University of Rome's beautiful campus is situated in Monteverde Vecchio, on top of the Janiculum hill overlooking Trastevere and the Tiber River. While this is a sedate, primarily residential neighborhood, it does have some beautiful areas to explore - and some of the best selfie spots in Rome!
